National Competence Centre (EuroCC)
EuroCC is short for European Competence Centre, and the Danish department is also called DK-NCC, Danish National Competence Centre. It is a collaboration between all 8 Danish universities and DeiC, which is to clarify and develop competences within the fields of HPC, AI and HPDA, meaning High Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence and High-Performance Data Analytics. The aim is for the collaboration to include both universities and the public administration as well as small and medium-sized companies. The collaboration and development of the community in HPC is intended to evolve sciences, disciplines and corporations, which today are only using HPC to a small degree and not as a part of their natural toolbox.
At the EuroCC website you will, gradually as the site is developed, be able to find competence maps showing which competences are available at which universities, companies and where in public administration. You will also be able to find learning material, offered courses, useful code and guides which hopefully will enable you to develop your own competences in HPC.
It is the large European collaboration on HPC, called EuroHPC, which together with DeiC each has granted half the funding of the Danish version of EuroCC.
